Malee 3, also known as Sidu Sri Lankan teledrama, is the third installment of the TV series Malee on TV Derana. This is a sequel to the Malee 2 (Aththamma) that follows the story of a 9-year-old boy abducted by his mother's former enemies and his friendship with a young Buddhist monk. Sidu is written by Saman Edirimunee and directed by Thilina Boralessa. Sidu quickly became a popular teledrama in Sri Lanka. Maneesha Chanchala Sri Lankan singer and actress who appears mainly in the second season of Derana Little Star as a child singer, also plays the main character of this teledrama. Sidu teledrama telecast live on TV Derana every weekday at 07:30pm.
